Enjoy the scenic drive in what the locals call the ‘Nasho’ (Royal National Park) and take in breathtaking views of the south coast at Bald Hill Lookout in Stanwell Tops. Head out on a 6km (3.7 mi) return hike in the Worlds 2nd oldest National Park through coastal rainforest with changing terrain and spectacular scenery that includes some steep sections and requires a medium to high level of fitness.
Walk through Burning Palms Beach and see the heritage listed Coastal Shacks and learn about ocean and beach safety from your guide. Continue along the coast where you scramble across some rocks to reach the Figure 8 Pools and spend some time to relax and explore this spectacular area and cool off in the rock pools.
Visit the beautiful Garie beach in the Royal National Park and indulge in a picnic lunch with a selection of wraps and nibblies. Then explore, swim and relax at one of the local lagoons and beaches at Wattamolla, where the Waterfall joins the lagoon and beach. There is a sandy shore that separates the lagoon and beach at Wattamolla and guests can swim in both areas. There is also a short walk to a viewpoint where you can see the ocean and looking back to Wattamolla lagoon.
